Right out of high school Dan joined the Canadian Armed Forces where he served for 5 years.

​

Dan has been a Paramedic for almost 20 years. He  started his Paramedic career in Toronto. More recently Dan has been working in a Supervisor position with Peterborough County/City Paramedics.

​

Dan has been a volunteer firefighter for over 20 years with Selwyn and Douro-Dummer townships, and is also on Peterborough County's Specialized Rescue Unit.

Dan has been an educator and instructor for the past decade for various levels of First Responders through the Prehospital Care Program at Lakeridge Health, Loyalist College's Paramedic, as well as Red Cross. He also operates his own business of teaching and re-certifying people on CPR and First Aid.
